Every year we partner with the Anderson Education Foundation and the Anderson Schools Teachers Closet at the D-26 building to “Stock the Closet”. Teacher’s are tasked with purchasing their own room supplies and supplies for kiddos that for whatever reason may not have supplies. It was our goal to help alleviate some of the back to school stress for teacher and student by collecting school supplies the month of July/August.
In the past 2 years, we have been able to collect enough school supplies to completely fill the teachers closet! They also know that throughout the year if a teacher needs or a student needs or if the closet is running low, they can call on us to help. We do collect school supplies all year long so if you would like to help us stock the closet please reach out.
